Privacy policy

We attach great importance to protecting your data. This website was designed to collect as little as possible: it is hosted in Switzerland, its fonts are hosted on our own server and it does not itself set any audience measurement, advertising or social media cookies. Manufacturers’ videos are only loaded from YouTube or Facebook if you start them (see § 2.9).

This statement explains how we process personal data collected on robolli.ch in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act (FADP, SR 235.1) and, where applicable, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

Robolli Sàrl, operating under the name Robolli Solutions – operates the robolli.ch website and handles enquiries about kitchens, bathrooms, renovations, interior fit-outs and façades Registered office and business address: Avenue Nestlé 8, 1820 Montreux – Showroom entrance: Av. du Casino 28, Montreux UID: CHE-275.966.318

Robolli Étanchéité Sàrl – handles waterproofing enquiries and contracts (diagnosis, quotation, works) Registered office: Chemin de la Plantaz 9, 1033 Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland · Office and contact: Avenue Nestlé 8, 1820 Montreux – Showroom entrance: Av. du Casino 28, Montreux UID: CHE-340.277.176

Both companies share the same office, telephone number and email address. Each company holds its own customer list (see § 2.13): an enquiry sent from a Robolli Étanchéité page is recorded by Robolli Étanchéité Sàrl, and any other enquiry by Robolli Sàrl. If your enquiry actually concerns the other company, we forward it to that company solely so that it can reply; neither company uses your data for any other purpose.

Email: info@robolli.ch · Phone: +41 78 652 77 88

For any questions about your data, regardless of the company concerned, please write to info@robolli.ch.

2. Data we process

2.1 Visiting the website

When you visit our website, our hosting provider’s server automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time, pages viewed, browser and operating system, referring website. This data is used solely to display the website, keep it secure and fix errors. It is kept in the server logs for a limited period and then deleted.

2.2 Telephone, email, WhatsApp and files sent

When you call us or write to us by email or WhatsApp, we process the data you give us: name, telephone number, email address, municipality or project address, project description and, if you choose to send them, plans, photos or documents (e.g. photos of the room or area to be treated). We use them only to reply to your enquiry, arrange an appointment, prepare a quote and, where applicable, carry out the work.

Please send us only the files useful for your project and, if possible, avoid showing people, personal documents or valuables in them. If third parties appear in your photos (e.g. tenants, neighbours), make sure they agree.

Files received are saved in the file for your enquiry and kept for the period stated in section 7.

2.3 2D/3D configurator

Our kitchen and pergola configurator works without any form to fill in, and nothing is sent from the page. If you send us the summary of your configuration by email or WhatsApp, we receive that summary (dimensions, models, colours, options) with your message and, where applicable, the files (plans, photos) you attach to it; they are kept in your client file for the period stated in section 7.

We use this data solely to handle your enquiry: to call you back, prepare an appointment and draw up a quotation.

Legal basis: processing directly related to the conclusion and performance of a contract (Art. 31 para. 2(a) FADP; Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where applicable).

Retrait: you may at any time ask us, by writing to info@robolli.ch, to stop processing your enquiry and to erase your data (subject to our legal obligations).

Retention period: see section 7.

2.4 Automatic reply

The website has no forms and sends no automatic replies.

2.5 Audience measurement

The website uses neither Google Analytics nor any audience measurement tool with cookies.

2.6 Maps

The website does not embed any interactive map or external mapping service.

2.7 Spam protection

The website has no form; no anti-spam tool or external verification service is used.

2.8 Jetpack

Our website runs on WordPress with the Jetpack plugin from Automattic Inc. (United States). Depending on the features enabled, Automattic may receive technical connection data such as your IP address.

2.9 Fonts and external content

The website’s fonts are hosted on our own server: no data is sent to a font provider when you visit our pages. The website contains no links to our manufacturers’ websites; the only external link is the WhatsApp button (see § 2.14), apart from the links that the YouTube and Facebook players display themselves once a video has started (e.g. “Watch on YouTube”).

Manufacturers’ videos: they are first shown only as a preview image hosted on our server. As long as you do not click or tap this image, nothing is loaded from YouTube or Facebook and no data is sent to them. If you start a video, the player is loaded from YouTube (Google, privacy-enhanced mode youtube-nocookie.com) or from Facebook (Meta). The provider then receives in particular your IP address, technical information about your device and browser, the video watched and the address of our website (robolli.ch). It may store cookies or similar data on your device (e.g. local storage): YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode does not prevent all storage once the video has started. If you are logged in to your Google or Facebook account, the provider may link the playback to your account. For their further processing, Google and Meta act under their own responsibility, including in the United States (see § 5), in accordance with their own documents: Google’s “Privacy Policy” and Meta’s “Privacy Policy”. If you do not start a video, no data is sent.

2.10 Social networks

Our website contains no share buttons. Some manufacturers’ videos use Facebook’s (Meta) embedded video player, which is only loaded if you start the video (see § 2.9).

2.11 Event announcements

When we announce an event (open day, pop-up store, special offer), a small notice is displayed on the website. If you close it, this choice is stored only in your browser (“local storage”, with no cookie, no personal data and no transmission to us or to any third party), so that it is not shown to you again. You can delete it at any time by clearing the website’s data in your browser.

2.12 No other external services

The website uses no external services other than those described in this policy.

2.13 Customer files

Each company keeps its own customer files, which are never public. An enquiry about waterproofing work is handled by Robolli Étanchéité Sàrl; any other enquiry by Robolli Sàrl. If necessary, we tell you at first contact which company is handling your enquiry, and the quote always states it.

The file contains your contact details, your messages, the files you have sent us, your configurations and the follow-up of your enquiry. Only the people who need this information to handle your enquiry or carry out the work have access to it. If you write to both companies, each keeps its own file.

Legal basis: pre-contractual measures and performance of the contract (replying to your enquiry, preparing a quotation, carrying out the work). Retention period: see § 7. You may at any time ask either company for a copy of your file or for its erasure (§ 9).

2.14 Contact via WhatsApp

Writing to us on WhatsApp is optional; you can always reach us by telephone (+41 78 652 77 88) or by email (info@robolli.ch). The website’s “WhatsApp” button is a simple link: no data is sent to WhatsApp until you click it. The suggested message only states the page you are writing from; you can change it.

We use WhatsApp Business, a Meta group service, to communicate with our customers. If you write to us that way, your number, profile name, messages and the files you send are processed by Meta under its own terms; data may be processed outside Switzerland, including in the United States. We use your messages only to reply to your enquiry and, if you wish, to follow up your project.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process your data only to: operate and secure the website; reply to your enquiries and prepare offers; perform our contracts; comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your data or use it for profiling or targeted advertising.

Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for enquiries and quotes; our legitimate interest (point f) for the security of the website; your consent (point a) for any processing that requires it, in particular loading a manufacturer’s video when you start it; our legal obligations (point c).

4. Recipients

Your data is disclosed only to service providers who help us run the website and the business, and only to the extent necessary:

  • Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva: hosting of the website and emails, in Switzerland;
  • our IT service providers, who are bound by confidentiality;
  • to carry out your project, and with your consent, our partner manufacturers and craftspeople (e.g. to order a kitchen or an appliance);
  • Meta, the provider of WhatsApp Business, if you choose to write to us that way;
  • Automattic Inc. (Jetpack), to the extent described in § 2.8;
  • Google and Meta, only if you start a manufacturer’s video (see § 2.9): for users in Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited (Ireland), the controller under Google’s Privacy Policy, and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Ireland), the provider of Facebook and controller according to Meta, as well as their group companies in the United States, in particular Google LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc.; these companies process the data they receive under their own responsibility. No other provider receives your data through the website.

5. Disclosure abroad

Our website and emails are hosted in Switzerland. Possible transfers abroad concern WhatsApp, if you use it, and the US-based services listed in section 4 when they are used. They are based on an adequacy decision of the Federal Council, on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on standard contractual clauses (Art. 16 FADP). For manufacturers’ videos: Google Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited are established in Ireland, which is listed in Annex 1 of the Data Protection Ordinance (DPO) among the States ensuring an adequate level of protection; data may then be transferred to the United States, which are listed in that annex for companies certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Google LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc. appear on the official list of these companies (checked on 26 October 2026).

6. Cookies

We use no audience measurement, advertising or social media cookies. Only strictly necessary technical cookies may be set. Exception: if you start a manufacturer’s video, YouTube or Facebook may set its own cookies (see § 2.9). Details: cookie policy.

7. Retention period

  • Server logs: limited period set by our hosting provider (see § 2.1).
  • Client file (enquiries, plans or photos sent to us, configurations, follow-up): kept for the entire duration of the project, then for the minimum statutory warranty period:
    • enquiry not followed up (no quote signed): deletion once the data are no longer needed to reply to you;
    • completed project: until the warranty periods for defects have expired: 5 years from acceptance for immovable works (Art. 371 para. 2 CO), 2 years from acceptance for movable works (Art. 371 para. 1 CO), then erased.
  • Accounting documents (invoices, signed contracts): 10 years (Art. 958f CO), in our accounts, outside the customer file.

8. Security

The website is protected by HTTPS encryption. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures (access to customer data limited to the people who need it, regular updates, backups) to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access and alteration.

9. Your rights

You may at any time:

  • request access to your data and information about how it is processed;
  • request their rectification if they are inaccurate;
  • request their erasure or object to their processing, subject to our legal obligations;
  • request the handover or transfer of your data in a commonly used format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without retroactive effect, by writing to info@robolli.ch.

Send your request in writing to info@robolli.ch or to our postal address. We may ask you to prove your identity. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch) or, if the GDPR applies, the data protection authority in your country of residence.

10. Changes

We may amend this statement at any time, in particular if we add a service. The version published on this website is authoritative.

The French version shall prevail.
